  • What is the dress code?

    In embracing the formal elegance of our wedding day, we invite you to don attire that reflects the festiveness of the occasion. Ladies are encouraged to wear sophisticated cocktail dresses with hats/fascinators for the church. Gentlemen are asked to honour the day in a suit complemented by a tie or bowtie.

  • How can I get to the church?

    We encourage you to come by public transport or taxi to the church, since transportation to the wedding venue is organized from the church. The easiest way to get to the church is by trams number 1, 2, 4, 8 and 10 stopping at Töölöntori tram stop.

  • What time should we arrive?

    Please arrive at the church 15-20 minutes before the ceremony starts to get seated.

  • Are children welcome?

    The wedding invitation is addressed to all the invited guests and this might include children.
    Feel free to take your kids with you to the brunch, just let us know when you RSVP.

  • Can I bring a plus-one/avec?

    The wedding invitation is addressed to all the invited guests and this might include a plus-one/avec.

  • Are the ceremony and reception at the same location?

    No, the ceremony and reception are in different locations. The transportation between the church and the wedding venue is organized for guests.

  • Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

    The wedding is mainly indoors, with welcome drinks served outside at the wedding venue. August can be quite hot in Finland, so dress light if the weather forecast indicates warm weather.

  • What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?

    Please inform any dietary restrictions or allergies in the RSVP form and we will try and accommodate to all needs.

  • What is the gift registry information?

    The most important gift for us is your valued presence at our wedding. We do not expect any traditional wedding gifts, but if you want to remember us on our special day, please contribute towards our honeymoon fund.

  • Will there be any other events during the wedding weekend?

    Yes, on the day after the wedding a brunch is hosted by the bride’s parents.

  • Can I speak at the wedding reception?

    Speeches and toasts are coordinated by Maid of Honor Emmi and Best Man Risto. Please inform them about speeches before the wedding.
